  Creativity & Genre   Creativity is very important when talking about a new subject.  Being creative is often times what sets you apart from other people, and your ideas. Creativity also is what moves us along as a group, company, and as an entire country.  The TED talk mentions how you should kee p a journal of your good ideas. These ideas are the creative ideas and thinking that is so important. For the Describe Yourself Activity,  we needed to think creatively on how we would describe ourselves. For the Bucket Lis t that I made, I had to be creative while brainstorming these ideas, instead of just writing something that everyone would write.   To Team or Not to Team   I decided to work on my portfolio  for Media Studies  indiv idually.  I have made this decision based of the Social Media Peer Account activity, and the Lost at Sea team-building activity. In the Social Media  Peer Account, I gathered information from a friend’s social media account. The information I gathered was about  how he thinks, and his personality, based on his social media posts. In the Lost at Sea activity,  I saw how people can have completely different perspectives of a matter.   Decision Day   My first impression of Premier Pro was that it is very complicated. There are a lot of options for effects and edits that I can do to  pictures and videos. Premier Pro will play a role in  delivering the “story” for  the project that I will be doing for class this year. If  I do a video, I can use the effects of Premier Pro to edit out parts of the video that are not wanted. Also,  using  Premier Pro ,  a  video can  be altered to change color,  and  to blur or focus parts of the video.   My first impression of InDesign was that it too was very complicated.  I nDesign is used to  create magazines, flyers, brochures,  posters, newspapers, books, eBooks, and presentations.  While using InDesign, there are options for digital publishing,  ability to link content, and much more.
